WP-Mail SMTP error- mail won’t send

  • I have a contact form on my website that won’t work (www.omnibusinesscenter.com but I took down the form). I have tried using multiple contact plugins as well as different emails (Emails I’ve tested and KNOW they are working). The site says the message was sent but it never makes it to my inbox.
    I downloaded the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin to fix the issue and it worked for a day! Then alas, it stopped working again and I get the following error message when I send a test email. help!

    Which contact form are you using on the site?

    Which type of email account are you using in WP Mail SMTP?

    I am having this problem on two sites.

    For omniemsbilling.com:
    I am using the Custom Contact Forms plugin

    For omnibusinesscenter.com
    I am using the default form that comes with the Divi theme. However I also tried Contact Form 7 plugin with this to no avail.

    As for what type of email account I’m using with the plugin, I believe the answer is outlook. I set it up in the contact form plugins to send to [email protected] and [email protected].

    I have the same problem using contactform7 after update my wordpress to 4.6.1

    PHPmailer version=5.2.14

    The SMTP debugging output is shown below:
