Loader won’t stop on post editor page

  • Hi, I installed the latest version of the plugin and linked it to my facebook app.
    When I enter the “Add New Post” page, I can see the “Facebook Instant Articles” section but it contains a loader that won’t stop spinning.

    The console log has error from admin-ajax.php with this line: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

    Apparently, it happens on the function instant_articles_load_meta_box.

    Is this a known issue? what can I do to fix it?

  • Sure, it′s a know issue in the plugin settings page but not in new post page. WordPress and FBIA plugin version?

    Wordpress version is 4.5.3
    Instant Articles for WP Plugin version is 3.1.2

    Well, i don′t have this issue in WP 4.6 and Instant Articles for WP 3.1.2.

    I should recommend you to update to 4.6.1 but i saw that you could experience problems. WP 4.6 works pretty well with 3.1.2 plugin version.

    Hi.. i use WP 4.6.1 and IA 3.1.2 and experiencing infinite (non stop) spinning on Facebook Instant Articles meta box. It happens in “Add New Post” or Edit Post Secreen.

    If i force to publish or Update the post, it comes white blank. But the post was publish or updated.

    Any explaination ? i think it’s a bug.

    I upgraded my WP to 4.6 and the IA is 3.1.2 so the versions are identicals to oscarmiguelbandin’s environment, but I still see the loader spinning.

    Looks like a bug for me too.

    hi @talyaari , try to deactivate all your plugins and start re-activate with FBIA (first) followed by other plugins.

    mine already resolved.

    I think it’s a matter of priority or sequence between the plugins.

    @afjsystem, thanks for the help but it didn’t work ??
    I disabled all plugins and kept only the FBIA enabled but it didn’t solve the issue.
    I also tried to upgrade the IA to 3.1.3…

    Any help will be appreciated.

    you should deactivate the FBIA also. and try re activate the FBIA, go to your post editing screen. see the meta box.
    is it work ?

    I did it, I deactivated the FBIA with all the other plugins and activated only the FBIA.
    Unfortunately, It didn’t work

    after i upgrade my php version into php7. the bug appears again.

    hmmmpff.. any clue or suggestion ?
