Gallery exceeding the maximum width of the container
-
Dear Mike,
First of all, thank you for developing such a great plugin.
We are really happy with its backend flexibility and the beauty of the result.
We are developing the Homepage of this site: https://gewerk-testing.de/de/home/ with your plugin, and we are facing one issue.
We have selected the padding between the tiles to be 6 pixels, but as you can see, when doing this, the tiles gallery overflows outside the container which is set to be 1.200px
We have tried many different solutions, such as wrapping the tiles shortcode inside another div forcing the maximum width to be 1.200px, modified the .wp-tiles-container div class to force the max-width to around 99% or so, but we still don’t manage to nail the final consistent solution.
Main problem here is also that we can not use the rule overflow:hidden since the hover effect on this tiles shows a pseudo element (the dot on the bottom right side) which, if overflow:hidden is in act, it appears too close to the border of the container.
I have also tried to set up the padding of the tiles to 0 and this of course works fine, but we wonder how could we use the padding parameter and still keep the gallery of tiles inside the container.
We look forward to hearing any input and guide on how to solve this issue.
Kindest Regards,
Mauricio Disilvestro
