File Date Shortcode (and more)

  • We just began evaluating plugins for handing our downloads, and I like the feature set of Delightful Downloads. It seems likely that we will be moving forward with this plugin.

    Please consider adding a shortcode to display the file date and/or published date. It also couldn’t hurt to provide shortcodes to display the assigned category and tags, but I’m mostly interested in the date.

    Some other download solutions also have an optional “version” field and associated shortcode. We could certainly benefit from having a version field, since we’ll probably offer our users multiple revisions of the same download package. We’d love to display this type of information, and a shortcode for this makes a lot of sense.
