• All my members need to enter is city, prov/state, and country. Surely this is possible as you have add-ons for SeventhQueen’s dating site template, and no one wants to publicise their full address to strangers on such sites.

How can I remove the fields for address, apartment number, and zip (or postal code, which everyone outside the US uses, so being able to change the title of that field would be nice) and just leave it at city, prov/state, and country?

    n/m. I see that’s a paid add-on.

Does the add-on modify the map behavior so it doesn’t try to generate a street address, but limits the scope to city, if address is deactivated?

Are you referring to the address fields of the location tab? If so, than it is not possible at the moment. The easiest solution would be to simply hide the fields using CSS style. A new location form with easier method to show or hide the different location field will be available in GEO my WP 3.0 which is now under development.

Are you referring to the Premium Settings add-on? If so, than using the Premium Settings add-on you can only select the address fields that will be displayed in the search results of GEO my WP search forms. There is no add-on at the moment that can hide certain address fields from the Location tab of the member’s profile page.

The best solution for privacy, that I can offer right now, is using the Xprofile Fields add-on. Using the add-on you can first hide the location tab. Then you can setup the specific address fields that you’d like to use for location and sync those fields with GEO my WP in the Add-on’s settings page.

    I hope that helps.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
