[Plugin: Contact Form 7] using Contact 7 plugin with existing contact form

  • I am trying to use Contact 7 here: https://www.meria.net/contact/

    I think I understand how to copy & paste the new fields into the existing contact form but there are many lines of verification that use the old form field names. Do I have to change the names in the verification? Hoe does the form know to use the Contact 7 plugin instead of the form script it’s using right now?

    Any help you can provide would be gratefully accepted.

  • Contact Form 7 uses own ‘tag’ system. So you shouldn’t directly copy other form contents into Contact Form 7 settings.

    You can use Contact Form 7’s default contact form. It’s easy.
