WordPress redirecting to wrong site

  • I am trying to create a second blog. I’ve got wordpress installed on my first blog, growbabygreen.com, and tonight, I put all the wp files in their place for my 2nd blog, momunexpected.com, yet when I go to momunexpected.com/wp-admin, it is automatically forward to my first blog, to a page that says “no upgrade required” with a link to my first blog’s main page.

    This is especially weird because I haven’t upgraded my first blog in a long time. But mostly I just want to figure out why the redirection is happening because I want to set up momunexpected.com

    If I just type in momunexpected.com, it also gets redirected to growbabygreen.com.

    I just checked my cpanel for my host, and as far as I can tell, there is no redirect set up on that end.

    You must be using the same database and didn’t change the table prefix in wp-config.php.
    Change from

    $table_prefix  = 'wp_';
to something else

    $table_prefix = ‘wp1_’;
    or anything at all
