    Hi,

I’m using WordPress with Woocommerce and QTranslate-X.
So product titles, descriptions, etc. are filled with two languages…

Feed Manager is putting the whole e.g. title string in to the feed, containing all languages including their identifiers ( [:en] ).

How can I just have one language in the feed??

    Thanks,
    Michael

    Hello Michael,

We should dive in to this to find out how the QTranslate-X works and what we can make sure this plugin works with our product feed manager.

At this moment it seems QTranslate-X is not working with the way our plugin is getting source fields. What you could do at this moment is replace certain words like [:en] from source fields like the title.

Not sure if this will be sufficient for what you want.

    Michael,

One more thing. If you could provide us access to your webshop we could have a look at how things work with QTranslate. Maybe it is something we could “fix” easy or find a workaround for you.

If you are willing please send an email with the login credentials to [email protected]

    Hello Auke,

    thanks for the quick response!

It seems like Feed Manager is requesting the whole filed value instead of running it through the translation function of WP in combination with qtranslate-x.

I would need to setup a specific test environment as I can’t let you into my dev system… Sorry.

    Thanks,
    Michael
