  • Hello,

I received the same error after updating just now.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /…/wp-content/plugins/memphis-documents-library/includes/mdocs-batch-file-methods.php on line 49

version 3.5.3 has been release the problem is solved. Depending on your php version a semicolon missing at the end of a statement will cause errors, which caused you issue.

The php version that I run in my test environment ignores the error.

Ok, thanks for this fast update. I still receive the same error with the latest update 3.5.3 and PHP 5.53 installed. Actually no error with PHP 5.56 which I can only run for test usage. Is there a way to download an earlier version of your plugin somewhere (3.5.1 worked fine)?

you can look at the development tab of in wordpress all version all keep there.

You should really think of upgrading your php version it is at end of life and not supported anymore

php 5.3 is an unsupported version of php should should consider upgrading to at least 5.6. Just for the sake of security ??

i’ve just uploaded an new version 3.5.4 and tried to fix your issue. Please give the new version a try and let me know if the problem is solved. I don’t have a server that uses php 5.5 or lower so I have no way of know if I have fixed the problem or not.
