Mixed Content: content must be served over HTTPS.

  • Hi guys,

    I installed the SSL certificate on my server, had some problems having all links run through https://
    I’m using the newest 4.6.1 version, SEO WP theme, corrected manually http to https for

    Basically it’s MIXED CONTENT SSL problem…
    Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://rank.guru/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script ‘https://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&ver=4.6.1’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

    Help please, can’t find this file and there the connection is.
    All I need to do is find the file, or module, that contains the non-SSL link and change it to https://

    Any thoughts?

  • From what I can see, it looks like it’s loading this script using http in the <head></head> section of the html. I would look for anything there first, template files or plugins that may place it there.
