    Scenario is as follows:

    1, WooCommerce installed
2, Affliates Pro and Affiliates WooCommerce Integration Light plugins installed
2, New Affiliate set up that receives 5% commission plus 5% Coupon

I want the users to visit the store via a link that once a WooCommerce purchase is made the 5% coupon will be applied and of course the 5% commission logged.

What URL should be used to enter the store so that these affiliate conditions apply. I created a banner that gives me the Shortcode [affiliates_banner id=”2527″] but not sure how to use this either.

What do I need to add to https://www.store_url.com for this to work correctly, I checked the documentation but cannot understand the use of the short codes.

  • Hi Silverfox47,
if you are using the Affiliates Pro, from Affiliates->Settings:Integration you can install the Woocommerce Integration Pro.
You could create a Woocommerce coupon, then assign this coupon to an affiliate (if you edit the affiliate from Affiliates->Manage Affiliates, you can add this atribute).
So, if a customer uses this coupon, then the customer get the coupon discounts, and the affiliate associated gets the commission.
Related to banners, in the affiliate-area page you can use the [affiliates_banner id=”2527″ render=”code”] shortcode to display the HTML code that the affiliates can use in their pages.

Thanks, I think I understand the coupon issue.

If I want to say to an affiliate click on this link to visit my store and get commission then what would be the link I would give them, this is the part I do not understand.

How to work out the link for each different affiliate?

I have solved the affiliates link issue so thank you for that.

The way I want it to work with Affiliate is as follows.

Affiliate has a referral rate of 0.05 and I have set a coupon for the affiliate using the coupon code assigned in Woocommerce.

Affiliate enters the store using http:store_url.com/?affiliates=2 they then make a purchase, at the point of checkout I would expect the coupon to be applied automatically and the purchase to be assigned against the affiliate.

What I see is the coupon is not assigned so the affiliate does not receive the auto discount do I need to add something else for this to happen?

    Hi,
maybe this plugin can help you.

    Hi silverfox47,

Did eggemplo’s suggestion help you? BTW for premium plugins you should rather use the dedicated support forums, in this case https://www.itthinx.com/forum/affiliates-pro

    Cheers

    Hi Kento,

Yes the plugin solved the issue, I was able to have an Affiliate with a discount and a commission.

    Perfect solution.

    Many Thanks

    Alan
