More words and no_photos

Yes, Danni, without photos powerfull of grids/tiles are gone but with only text its possible to use the grid like a table and I like your designs (photos, standar, horizon…). Resultments would be better than most of table′s plugins used for display the posts.

Maximum words are increased in version 1.3.2 to 100 words.

I will check or without images is possible and let you know the result.

I have a beta release where you can hide the photo’s and have a lot of extra excerpt features (full text box, background colors, font style/size and more …
Just send me a mail and i return you the beta.

Beta release info:
* Short code bg=”1″ : Hide background image and use text only grids/tiles!
* Short code bgc=”x” where x is the number from the predefined excerpt background color setting (1 to 5).
* Short code tiles=”x” to show grids (“x”=”0”), tiles (“x”=”1”) or tiles with shadow (“x”=”2”).
* Short code tiles=”x” to mix differnt lay-outs on one post/page.

In everycase dont miss that, without photos in the grids, u have a table′s plugin on your board. With a few adaptations sure u can launch it sucessfully in the pluging repertory like a new table′s plugin

The grids are at this time predefined lay-outs, tables are more flexible to adapt to.
Maybe … very maybe … we can extend these …

New release with a lot of new options, included your requests:
= 1.3.3 =
* NEW: If the maximum grids to show is reached, the read more button will be hidden.
* NEW Short code: [bg=”x”] will hide the background images from the tiles and grids.
* [bg=”x”] If x is 1 to 5, it will display the excerpt with title and a background color defined in the settings page.
* [bg=”x”] If x is 11 to 15, it will display the excerpt without title and a background color defined in the settings page
* NEW: Short code [tiles=”x”] to show grids (“0”), tiles (“1”) or tiles with shadow (“2”).
* Short code error message removed on search page(s).
* Removed “pods” mention when the Read More button was used by the short code [pods=”x”].
* NEW Setting: Button action when last Grid is showed: Do Nothing, Hide the button or Set the button in a gray color.
* Adjusted standard settings if new Grid WUD installation.

If you want to downgrade for some reason, just download here release 1.3.2.
