Jetpack not connecting

  • I recently moved my site https://bellekens.com from wordpress.com to a self hosted site on Siteground.
    When I try to connect my Jetpack is recognizes my wordpress.com user and says

    ‘Completing connection
    Jetpack is finishing up the connection process’

    but nothing further happens.
    When I go back to my site stil has the button ‘connect’ and jetpack is not connected (and because of that a number of features are not working properly on my site)

    I’ve already contacted jetpack support, but haven’t heard from them yet. Anyone an idea what I can try myself?

    I contacted first Jetpack support, and after that my host (Siteground) support and then suddenly it started working.
    I’m not sure what caused it .
    It might have been me simply changing my admin password on the www.ads-software.com side.
