Show x, y, z posts from cat 1, 2, 3 on one page.

    I want an index page that shows articles from different categories like so:
    cat 1, 2, 3: last article
    cat 4, 5: last 3 articles
    cat 6: last 4 articles
    I found one post with a reference to Kitten’s plugin. Being new to WP I’d say it isn’t possible. Then again, I’m new. But am I right?

  • I thought I would be asked to register after pressing the submit button. Obviously, it didn’t. Anyway, I posted this question.

    I’d also be interested in something like this. Could a plugin be written that could ‘take over’ the ordering of articles on the index page?
