I have my galleries organized this way: Each gallery has it’s own page which I create using the “add page” button from Manage Gallery section. When some gallery is used inside a post, clicking any image takes you to the previously created page, to be able to see all the images.

Inserted galleries into posts are formatted by using a custom CSS which is stored inside my child theme ‘style.css’ file, which is called from custom template. My custom Nextgen Gallery template is stored into a folder called ‘nggallery’ under my child theme folder.

I’ve been using this configuration for a very long time, but somehow something happened to CSS when updated the plugin to the latest version (2.1.50). Previously inserted galleries are not taking into consideration my CSS, and instead are using default CSS configuration. Same thing happens when inserting a new gallery.

@sottovoce – Have you verified your custom CSS is in the following location: ../wp-content/themes/[yourtheme]/nggallery/?

You can also copy the custom CSS from that file to under Gallery > Other Options > Style which is generally much better and more readily used.

    Thanks!

I was using .ngg-gallery-thumbnail from my child theme CSS file, and it worked fine until last update. I will give a try to any of the two other alternatives, to see if it works. I’ll let you know.

    Thanks!

@sottovoce – If the issue persists we will likely need a lot more context beyond the specific class you were using in your custom CSS.

    Thanks!

I finally ended up following your suggestion of adding CSS to Gallery > Other Options > Style, and deleted the settings from my custom CSS file. Now it’s working fine.

    Thank you very much
