I can login to wp-panel but not on the site

  • When I login on the UM login page (https://www.diariorc.com/login/) it redirects me to wp-panel because I’m administrator and I told UM to do that.
    But when I login as another role, when the page is reloaded, it continues asking me to login.
    Even when I’m logged as administrator when I visit the home page or any page, it still ask me for login.
    Why is happening that?

    Hi @mcrcgestion,

    If you have disallowed administrator to login on front-end, this will result with this error. You can check the settings in Admin > UM > Access.

    I could be wrong but just try clearing out your browser cookies. That is, try to delete the cookies for your site. This feature is usually in the browser settings or options depending on what browser you use.

    You can also try logging in with a different browser to see if it’s a script or a browser issue.

    I tried that. It didn’t work. Could be the .htaccess file?

    It was the cache. I had WP Super Cache. I tried to make the plugin not to cache the UM pages in this section: WP super cache -> Advanced -> Accepted Filenames & Rejected URIs

    It didn’t work. I don’t know why but after trying so hard I installed Comet Cache and worked perfectly.

    Right. Funny, I was thinking also that it was a cache issue but for some reason I kept thinking cookies.

    If you were using WP SuperCache, then all you needed to do was to click on delete.

    Glad that your problem is solved. I’ll also have a look at that cache plugin you mentioned.
