Duplicate videos (and any other video link) in sitemap

  • Although I have only one video per page the sitemap includes two instances of the same video and then also includes as videos all other youtube links found on each page. So, just because the description of a video includes other links, that particular page will have ALL of those links posted in the sitemap as if I have those videos embedded.
    Worst thing is, after I deactivate the plugin and clear the cache, the sitemap is still there on my website.

    The plugin creates sitemap file in your WordPress installation.So you have to delete the file to get rid of the sitemap.

    Also plugin reads all video link in page content and adds them in sitemap.So in your case it does not work
