    Hi,

i just installed the plugin, and since then, i can’t add any widget anymore : when i go in the widget page, the UI where you normally drag’n’drop widget isn’t here ; clicking a widget doesn’t add it automatically anymore and moreover, i can’t manually add a widget going into the graphical personnalisation : i constantly get a link to add WowPi widget, but this doesn’t do anything at all.

I can’t add WoWPi widget, but can’t add any other widget too.

When i disable WoWPi, widgets return.

    Can you help me ?

Thanks in advance, and cheers for all the good work !

i’ll correct : i can’t create anything with WowPI turned on : can’t create pages, can’t create articles. Nothing can be added anymore.

    Thanks for your time

WordPress wouldn’t allow a plugin to interfere with the whole framework, so I don’t think the problem is related to this plugin. If nothing can be added, this must either have something to do with your database or with the space on the harddisk. Regarding the plugin, I couldn’t say it is making problems. At least not to my blog… And believe me because when I am working on the plugin, I work on the live site :)).

Anyway, if you still have problems with your blog, you can contact me on Google Hangouts: [email protected].

Hello… I just found out that WordPress has a “native” http getter… In human terms, do an update to version 2.2.8 and tell me if it works now.

    Hi

    I’m having the same issue.

    2.2.8 on WP 4.6.1

Thanks for looking into it ??

Well, @aleols… The version 2.2.8 was addressing exactly this issue, and I have confirmation from two users that everything works (including from @elnonito). So your problem must be somewhere else. Do send me an email or contact me through Google Hangout ([email protected]), and we will try to find out where the problem is.

@avenirer i am having the same exact problem. the widget interface disappears only with WoWpi added and i actually get a fatal error:

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/springvisuals/public_html/ascensionguild.us/wp-content/plugins/wowpi/includes/wowpi_data_processing.php on line 261

    Hello @springvisuals and @aleols

As I’ve read from people who encountered this issue with other plugins (as I can’t reproduce your errors on my local machine), the most likely reason might be the fact that the server your website is hosted on doesn’t allow outgoing connections (that is “it doesn’t allow for the plugin to retrieve data from Blizzard…”). You can check this if on your admin interface homepage you see grids that don’t return any news feeds from www.ads-software.com.

So you need to ask your hosting provider if it allows outgoing connections.

I tried to repair the the plugin so that it won’t end up blocking your widgets, but in order to do something else (and make sure the plugin won’t affect your work) I would need to work on a website that encounters this problem. So, if you think you can help me make this plugin better, you can contact me on Google Hangout ([email protected]).

    Thank you for your patience.

    Thanks

I’ve fixed this now and totally forgot to reply. Sorry about that. What I did was basically just a uninstall and install+activate again. Didn’t have any issues after that with pages not loading with the plugin activated.

Thank you for a great plugin ??

So the uninstall and reinstall also worked for me, whatever was messed up on the line must have been fixed ??

Another question: how do I get get guild raid progression as i see that in the description here, but nowhere in WordPress widget settings. Thanks!

Sorry for Hijacking the thread, I’m not sure you want me to create a new one for the exact same problem.

This happens to me as well, latest WP version 4.8.
Widget page shows Error 500 and shortcodes aren’t working- nothing works.

    Uninstall/resintall does nothing either.
    Ideas?
