shortcode for product_cat is not working

Hello , I want to use the product_cat option in short code. I want to get value only based on category id.
I have used this shortcode in the sidebar of a search page for product filter by category. So If I select any particular category, than i want the shortocode filter value based on that category only , like if one category “BOOK” has min price value as 100 and max price value as 500 ,than it should show only price range between 100 – 500 for Book category.
