Search Console – Yoast SEO

Hi, I’m very new to YOAST SEO and am a complete novice.
I’m trying to set up the addon and when I come to the Search Console I get, ‘There were no profiles found’.
When I try to reauthenticate with Google, I am given a new code to input, and then told ‘There were no profiles found’.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, or if I’ve missed a step.
This part seems important, but maybe it’s not?
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
