    Im planning on moving my blog to a .org hosting over at dreamhost. When i export my post ill get a 22mb XML file. is there anyway i can import my files to my new host (due to the limited file size)?

  • Just for the sake of clarity. There is NO .org hosting. You move it to dreamhost. Period. (and use the software downloaded from wp.ORG)

    You may want to search for similar questions, which might have advice about how to “cut” up your big file in smaller portions.

    ok another similar question, is there any plugin that automatically copy a post (including images) on my wordpress.com account and then paste it on my “dreamhost” account? without using the export option on wordpress.com (since it only exports post and not images)

    You can use free desktop blogging clients “BlogDesk”. All you have to do is configure your WordPress.com account and new .org domain account on dreamhost. Once configred download post from your old account and upload to new DreamHost.

    problem solved, i used gzip to zip my 22mb file and got a 1.5mb fil and upladed that ??
