• It seems to me that plugin developers have a difficult time understanding their role. A plugin should be compatible with other plugin, thats why updated and improvements are always being made, except in Webshark’s case.

Webshark’s response to Google’s Amp errors caused by Comet Cache (((As described above under “Validation Errors Caused by the HTML Compressor”, the markup required by AMP (see “Required markup” above) does not support compression. If you try to compress AMP markup, you will get validation errors. There’s nothing Comet Cache can do about that, as we have no control over what AMP requires.)))

As of today, WP Rocket is fully compatible with Google’s AMP push. https://wp-rocket.me

  • Comet Cache Lite, which is what you’re reviewing by posting a review here on www.ads-software.com, is fully compatible with the WordPress AMP plugin and causes absolutely no validation errors.

The issue that you’re referring to above has to do with a specific Comet Cache Pro feature (the HTML Compressor), which is not part of the version of Comet Cache hosted in the WordPress Plugin Directory.

As described on the related GitHub issue, we’re in the process of fixing the HTML Compressor (again, a Pro feature) so that it’s compatible with AMP markup.

As you can see from my post above, that it NOT what you told me, when I asked if a future update would correct the problem.

You would think that people who PAY you for your plugin would have better communications with you than what you emailed me.

@e11studios I’m sorry if there was any miscommunication. Everything we discussed is publicly visible on the GitHub issue, as we did not do any private emailing.
