Embed End User guide (pdf) in WordPress dashboard

I’ve created some author/editor profiles for a college website.
I’m developing a basic pdf with screenshots, so they can learn to use the cms without further help.

Is there a way to embed this pdf in the dashboard so they can read it inline directly once they login? I hope to be able to remove it later, but I know it will take several weeks for them to reach the needed knowledge.

Also, I’ve seen plug-ins that creates wikis or faqs in dashboard, so If anyone thinks that this would be a better solution, we’re open to suggestions about this (in case we could also include screens, videos, etc.)
