The error remains the same here. Recalling that the conflict is with the Swift Framework plugin when active plugin MailChimp

    follows the error again

Fatal error: Class name must be a valid object or a string in /home/balihous/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/mailchimp-woocommerce.php on line 198

  • Hey again lenz_POA,

Thanks so much for keeping me posted. Just to confirm, you were able to upgrade to the newest version of MailChimp for WooCommerce, correct? Also, try completely deleting the plugin and re-adding it and see if the conflict persists.

    Thanks!

Yes the plugin is deleted via ftp because when the screen goes blank and active displays only the error can not return.

Every plugin test is always done with a new installation.

Thanks for confirming that. I’ve forwarded this information to our developers. I’ll reach out on this thread if I hear any news.

    Best,

    hi, any news ?

    Hey there,

The next version should address some of the issues we were seeing with conflicts regarding the Swift Framework. No ETA right now, but when it goes out I’ll follow up here and we can make sure everything’s running as expected.

Thanks for the follow up! I’ll be in touch.

Hello, I would like to know if they are going to release a new version with the correction of the error that I am facing, after all it has been more than 1 month since the last contact.

    Hi there,

We do not yet have any updates on that situation – but please let us know if you have any other questions we can help out with in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Pearl

    Hey @lenz_poa!

Good news – I received word from our developers that this issue should be resolved as of 1.0.6. If you’re using an older version, do you mind updating to the latest? Also, if that does not resolve your issue please feel free to reply back here with the following details:

    – The version of PHP currently installed
    – The theme being used on your site
    – All other plugins currently enabled
    – A link to your site where the plugin is installed
    – Does your site meet the WooCommerce minimum requirements, detailed here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/

    Thanks!
