Create Expiring Encrypted Links?

  • I am trying to understand if this plugin is for me.

    I have videos and other content on my website, that is sold on-demand (courses). I wish to make the links to that content, dynamic. So that when the person who bought the course, goes to that page, the link is dynamically created just for that user, for that moment. If they were to share that link with anyone, the other people would not be able to use it.

    If in addition to that, downloading could be prevented, great. But I don’t expect that. But dynamically created links that are unique to each logged in user, would be great.

    It seems this plugin does a lot more than that, more than what I need. So I had a hard time figuring out if it could just provide this function I am seeking. Looking forward to hearing back about the answer.

  • You could set a time-out to your links by wrapping the FileAway shortcode with one from another plugin, for example the “Show/Hide Content at Set Time”: link to plugin The link itself can be encrypted within FileAway.
