I don’t want people to download my AUDIO files..

  • Hello,

    I have a Music blog and I don’t want people to be able to download my files through RSS feed. I have changed my Audio player OPTION(Alternate content for feeds:) to NOTHING from the DASHBOARD but this didn’t help.

    What can i do??

  • If they are just files on your server, I don’t know there’s a way to prevent people from downloading them. When I know the address (for example by looking at it at the bottom of the browser), I can make my own link and say “save as”. Perhaps you can look into the subject of disallowing access to the files from other servers than your own or something, like a stop hotlinking plugin for audio files. I don’t know if that works, but it might be something to look into.
