Too Many False Positives – WordPress Core Code Would Get Flagged

This plugin has a lot of false positives. As it stands, it’s hard to call it reliable, and it ends up not being that helpful to people.

The WordPress Core itself would get flagged by your plugin. Plugins that use code exactly like core code are getting flagged.

Some serious work needs to be done to reduce the false positive rate.

I’d recommend running it against the WordPress Core code to get a baseline, and fix some of your false positives.

I’d provide more details, but the issues are quite numerous…it would be more telling for you to run it against the core code, and you’ll see what I mean.
