Disabling a category feed

  • One of my category feeds is consuming inordinate amount of CPU resources (is listed as a Google widget somewhere) almost to the extent of 25% of the entire usage. I want to disable the feed for only this category since that category is no longer updated or used. How can I do that without messing with the rest of the site’s feed?
