bbc rss feed original feed image not used?

    @expat, the plugin doesn’t change the URLs at any moment.

    If you are providing
    https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/660/cpsprodpb/8031/production/_91971823_mediaitem91971822.jpg
    as external featured image, this is the only image that the plugin can show.

    If 660 is being replaced by 320, it’s being caused for another reason. The plugin is not able to do that.

    it s so weird !! BBC UK is cleverly serving two images, the thumb first and then the full pic later

    My aggregator with its recommended plugin takes the full pic and links to it as the first image

    BUT in your plugin, it s taking the thumbnail ONLY

    SO there is NO restriction on the og:image tag?

    I am new thanks

    PS. can you delay the firing of this script?

    @expat,

    The same URL you have provided to FIFU is used in property og:image.

    But if you don’t want to use og:image property created by FIFU, go to

    featured-image-from-url -> includes -> html -> social.html

    And delete the line below:

    <meta property=”og:image” content=”<?php echo $url ?>” />
