Hi how are you? I’m trying to change the text for the subscription checkbox but it doesn’t work. I click save changes and it reverts back to the default text. However the list sync happened correctly.

Site Woocommerce report (includes WP version, etc) https://gist.github.com/Matiasi/db8b4d80db6d960c0b79f91f033fd9a4

It’s kind of a big deal because my site is in spanish and the checkbox text is in english. Thanks

  • Hey BACP!

I can definitely understand wanting to have the subscription checkbox in Spanish.

The best option to adjust the text that displays on the Checkout step would be via the “List Settings” tab within the plugin.

When attempting to edit and save those changes, were you able to see the “Settings Saved” message or any error messaging?

In the meantime, if you could test things out from a different browser or incognito window of Google Chrome, and let me know what happens.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this thread for your reply!

I have the exact same issue. I can’t save the settings where you choose your list and change the subscription text.

I have tried it in Chrome in incognito as well. Same problem. I do, however get the “Settings saved message. But the fields a reverting back, and the signup checkbox still has the original text.

    Hey y’all,

Apologies for the delay in replying here. I wanted to see if I could get some more information from each of you to try to replicate the issue you’re seeing. Can you please follow up with:

    – The version of PHP you’re using,
    – The version of WooCommerce and WordPress you’re using,
    – Any active plugins you have installed, and
    – The theme you’re using

Can you also include what text you’re trying to change it to, as well as the OS/version and browser/version you’re working in?

With this info I can try to replicate what you’re seeing. Looking forward to hearing back!

    Best,
    Garnet
