Purchased, But Still No pro Version

    I am using the Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails plugin. It asks if you need more options, buy pro version, which I did. As it turned out though, I purchased a whole other plugin and had to install that instead. Ok, fine. Install new plugin, but the option I bought the plugin for is missing (show posts between specific dates). I look to the side and see it again says, “want more options, go pro.” I look around and see no way to upgrade or input my license key.So yeah, I’m not happy.

    I can’t edit or update my previous post, but I wanted to add that I’ve spent almost two hours running in circles trying to figure out how to get what I paid for. I’ve purchased dozens of themes and plugins and never had to figure out how to actually get my hands on it. The plugin website is like a maze and the confirmation email has only a link to download an image, no actual plugin. Worst of all, feeling tricked into thinking I was buying the pro version of an already installed plugin, only to find out it’s a whole other plugin that is FAR more difficult and complex.

    The confirmation mail contains the download link to the plugin. It is near the section where you have found your license key (you mailed me the correct license key).

    The option you bought the plugin for (“show posts between specific dates”) is in the section “Date and time filter”. There you can enter a start date and an end date. Please mind the notice at the form fields about the format to enter the date correctly.

    Sorry for the confusion about the Pro version. You bought “Ultimate Post List Pro”. It let you build versatile custom-tailored post lists. The plugin “Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails” let you make the same, too, but with far less options and less flexibility.

    I developed both plugins, and for me Ultimate Post List Pro is a further development of Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails. It is a “Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails Pro” version because with both plugins you can achieve the same: list of posts configured to your needs. The usage of is different to handle more than 100 options in Ultimate easily.
