    Hello,

i’m using MLA on my website to bulk edit the language (Polylang) of my media.

If the Polylang media option is activated, the bulk editing return me an error “Are You Sure You Want to Do This” and nothing change.
If the option is not activated, the plugin says that everything is ok but nothing happend, my media keeps the previous language.

    How to resolve this bug?

    Regards

Thank you for your question. I am traveling and away from my test/development system, but I can investigate further and give you an answer after I return Home next Thursday.

I want to make sure I understand what you are doing so I can reproduce the problem on my system. You wrote “i’m using MLA on my website to bulk edit the language (Polylang) of my media.” I understand this to mean that you are using the Bulk Edit area on the Media/Assistant admin submenu; is that right? If not, what screen are you using?

You wrote “If the Polylang media option is activated … Is that a Polylang option setting? What screen does it appear on?

Can you tell me the version of Polylang you are using so I make sure I use the same version?

Thank you for any additional details you can provide. I will work on this as soon as I return to my test/development system. Thanks as well for your interest in MLA.

Thanks for your patience while I was on the road. I have found and fixed the Bulk Edit language defect you reported. I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20161029 that contains the fix. To get the Development Version, follow the instructions in this earlier topic:

Shortcode not working in (special) widget

It would be great if you can install the Development Version and let me know how the fix works for you.

    Hello,

I’m really sorry for not having replied to your first message, I was traveling abroad and really busy ??

I will try your dev version asap.

Ok here I am, I installed the dev version and the results are :
    – If the Polylang media option is deactivated, the bulk modifiy tool says it’s ok but nothing happend, like it was before, :/
    – If the Polylang media option is activated, the bulk modify tool worked. \o/

I tried on my 3 media test files but I will go further, if i find a bug I’ll tell you.

I have released MLA version 2.40, which contains the Polylang bulk language edit fix.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions about the new version.
