• I just installed everything today so it’s all up to date. First of all the theme said the recommended banner size is 1950×500 so I designed my banner at those specifications then when I added it, it was way too big. Why is the recommended size not correct or am I missing something. I finally got it to look right on my computer then I go to my iOS Iphone 6s Plus and you can’t even see the logo because it didn’t size down or at least not enough.

Because it’s in development I’m using the factory url https://biz211.inmotionhosting.com/~lastst9/

Can someone look at this and tell me what to do? It seems like this is way more complicated than advertised. Thanks

  • Hi,

I had the same frustrations and here is what I found out.

The image to insert in the header is not responsive, so if you use one, make sure it does not include too many details, because as you noticed, in mobile they no longer show up for abvious reasons ( not enough space in mobile view ).

To still have your logo in both desktop and mobiel view, you should:

    A. use an image without your logo already in it and not too many details
    B. insert your logo into the header elements “customizer” section

That way your logo will still show up on mobile and will act responsive.

If you want even more control over the mobile view, consider extentions like:

    Storefront Powerpack
Pootlepress Storefront Pro ( my favorite )
