can i create a google-alert widget with the rss-feed-widget

i look for an add-on that gives us the ability to display excerpts along with the feed item titles. It’s perfect for injecting some life and into our feed item display. There could be are a number of excerpt settings and thumbnail settings available, along with the shortcode parameters.

what is needed: what is aimed: we should be able to set up Google News feeds directly from the feedly search box and then we should be able to use a Google Alert RSS feed to follow the Alerts in a widget on our wordpress-site.

to give a example.

i have a website that is presenting news about a writer: – for example we take harold pinter.

so i look for news that are created by google-alerts – with the special search-term harold pinter

google-alerts puts togehter some news on that topic. They provide an alert – news-stream.

this news-stram i want to get like a RSS-Feed. I want to display the feeded news in a widtget of my wordpress-page.

is this possible

Yes, it is possible. RSS Feed Widget simply works with all kind of RSS feeds, there is no problem with Google alerts specifically because Google alerts are also available as RSS. Where are you stuck in using it?
