A Few Questions On How-To

  • I’m a wp-theme designer and I’ve been wondering how to do a few really neat things I’ve seen around. Hope you can help.

    1) How can I list the smiley icons above the comment area?
    2) Also above the comment area, how can I list the html codes that are allowed?
    3) How do I differ the featured/latest post from the past posts on index.php?
    4) I might be able to figure this out after I get an answer to number 3, but how can I make every post an excerpt only except for the latest/featured post on index.php?
