I uploaded a wordpress 2.6 download to a godaddy account everything is uploaded and in the ftp files.

So I filled in the wp-config.php file but when it is in the ftp I just get a site error 500, then if I delete the wp-config.php file I get a page that says I need to configre that file, so I push “create a configre file” and fill in all the blanks and it won’t take it.

I have gone over my entire database log in info like 10 times, and it just won’t take it.

Anyone have any advice that might help? Thanks

Well it was the blank that says %99 of the time you will not need to change this, it did need the complete host name.
