Product descriptions causing problems with product display order

Hi there,

I am having a problem with product descriptions causing issues when displayed on the shop page.

I need the descriptions to display under each individual product, and have managed to get that right by adding an action to my functions.php.

The problem is that I need the products to display in a certain order, and when no description shows on the shop page, this works perfectly. But, as soon as I enable descriptions on the shop page, the products get shifted around, and are no longer in the correct order.

I have tried everything to get this to work, but just can’t figure it out. Adding css instead of php does exactly the same thing.

I have gone back to the sort tab on the products page and made sure everything is in order there (which it is), yet the products display in a different order on the actual site once descriptions are visible.

Any idea what might be causing this?
