Calendar issues

  • Hi,
    I am trying to add sportspress competition calendar into google calendar.

    When I click on Google Feed in Sportspress Calendar
    and confirm “Yes, add this calendar” it is added in “Other calendars” section and is EMPTY.
    Last time I tried that it would be added to main calendar list and worked correctly.

    If I try to to add calendar with Add by URL and provide calendar as “webcal: …” I get this error:

    “Settings Error
    We could not parse the calendar at the url requested.”

    Anyhow I managed to save sportpress calendar as ics and import it into Outlook and Google calendar, but that calendar doesnt reflect changes in Sportpress calendar as it is just imported.

    What should I do?

    Let me see if I understand your issue correctly. When you save the calendar as ics it still won’t show the latest events / changes?

    DO you have any other plugins installed there?

    ics shows events, but when events change its not refected in imported ics.
    But I was wondering wether something changed in the way google handle calendar feeds and consequently Sportspress calendar feed is not compatibile with google calendars any more?

    Hi!

    Keep in mind that this depends on the device / account cache. Probably the calendar itself is changed but the calendar app won’t fetch your data every time you load it (and it may not load it again after the import, depending on the app)
