“Subscribe to Blog” not working

    I have been using the Jetpack Blog Subscriptions widget for 2.5 years, but have just discovered that nothing happens when you click the “Subscribe” button in the form. The form is not submitted. Also, checking the box “Notify me of new posts by email” in the comments form is not resulting in a subscription.

    I am not seeing any errors in my Console when inspecting the site in either Firefox or Chrome.

    Jetpack was updated to the latest version about 2 weeks ago and it’s possible that the problem arose at that time. Are there known issues, and if not, what more information might I be able to provide?

    I have tried disabling/reanabling the Jetpack plugin, and also turning off/on the “Subscriptions” toggle in the settings in WordPress, but nothing changes.

    Jeremy,

    I know we long ago closed this ticket, but I wanted to report back that I have finally solved this issue. I was having a totally separate issue with another plugin and found that there was a jquery conflict. Upon resolving that conflict by using a different version of jquery in my theme, the ‘subscribe’ button conflict you were helping me with was resolved also.

    Thanks again for your help in troubleshooting the issue.
