Limit Posts In Slider

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

In the latest version of theme we have removed the slider posts restriction so it displays all the slider posts having slider category.

You can control which posts to display in the slider by adding or removing slider category from the posts.

To clarify, the only way to limit the number of posts shown in the slider is to use a specific category? So if all my blog posts are categorized as “blog,” there is no way to only show the 4 most recent blog posts?

No you are getting it wrong.

What i mean please create any category for slider like Featured and add this category to the posts that you want to display in the slider. Then select this category as a slider category in the slider options.

Do you plan to consider adding just “Limit slider posts to…” option which would restore previous behaviour? It’s holding me back from updating because managing my 4 latest posts through some special category is not what I want to do after publishing each post.

Hi !

I agree. I love this theme but yet to accomplish the previous behaviour I have to manage categories for new and old posts. It’s a waste of time.

Plese get back to previous behaviour or add a customizer option to limit post number on the selected category !
