4.0 update brought down my site

  • I tried to update to version 4.0 and it brought down my site. I had to overwrite the plugin from a prior save to bring my website back up.

    Not going to try again to update until this is addressed.

    Could you please answer on these questions:
    1. Which PHP and WP version you use
    2. Do you have WPBruiser no-Captcha anti-Spam plugin installed?
    3. What is the theme name you use?
    4. Have you tried to delete plugin and install it again?
    5. Have you tried to delete the default form and creat it again in Dashboard > Comments > Forms admin page?

    And please make sure you’ve deleted all cache and purged CDN after update.

    tried again, error

    brought my system down again.

    These issues comes from php version.
    Please make sure you use PHP 5.4 and higher. Try to change PHP version to 5.6 or higher through cPanel.
