Google is Indexing Odd Versions of Our Pages
-
Hi,
I’ve noticed that Google is caching odd versions of our pages. We’ve just switched to WordPress so we’re still learning all the nuances.
We just noticed that Google has indexed this page:
https://bankruptcycanada.com/de-billy-tremblay-beloeil-map/?Associ%C3%A9s&address=6600%20Trans%20Canada%20Highway&city=Pointe-Claire&stateProvince=QC&postalCode=H9R%204S2&country=CA&lat=45.4611&lng=-73.8301&user1=Suite%20750&user2=514-875-1363&user3=syndic%40debilly-tremblay.com
We have added a noindex tag (through Yoast) to the page /de-billy-tremblay-beloeil-map/ but with the ? and extra code the noindex tag didn’t take.
Also, the string of code that is added after the page is NOT the correct address for that map page. Anyone have an idea of what is going on?
Will I have to add each of our map pages and “?” to our robots.txt so additional map pages with extra code added on won’t be indexed?
Thanks!
