    Hi,

    First thanks so much for such a great little plugin, lots of features packed in!
    I am trying to use a pop up with an onlick trigger on this page:
    https://tizzit.co/makers-biz-summit

    The big pink button above the fold “get free access now” is what I would like to use to trigger the pop up on click. I have tried method 1, 2 and 3 but nothing works. It seems like the button still redirects to the homepage each time. What should I input in the href for my button if I use the selector method?

    Thank you!

    Sorry you’re having troubles, I’m sure we can find a solution.

    I’ve checked out your site and I’m able to trigger the popup using my debugger tools, and it looks like everything is loaded properly.

    Do you have the “Do not prevent the default click functionality” feature enabled? Find this when you edit your trigger in the Popup Editor.

    Let us know if that works.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.
    I just enabled the function, but still can’t trigger the popup on click. It seems like the “href” of my button has priority and I get redirect to my homepage on click ??

    @dengelmad

    Sorry for the confusion, but make sure the “Do not prevent the default click functionality” feature is NOT CHECKED.

    Removing the href altogether should actually get rid of the issue. You don’t want that to link to a page anyway. If you must add a link, add #pum-26236.

    Let us know if that helps.

    I see! Sorry. It is unchecked now – and was to start with. I tried your suggestions regarding “href” and at least I am not redirect to my homepage anymore, but I still cant see the pop up. The button is clicked and nothing happens.

    Thanks @waltmesser. I appreciate it. It’s the morning here so I will be at the computer all day if he/you need me to change things and/or tweak settings on my site.

    Hi @waltemesser,

    I understand this is a free plugin and support can only be limited so it’s all good if you can’t get to me back in time but I do need to find a solution asap or will have to get another plugin working instead ??

    @dengelmad

    Aplogies for the delay.

    Have you tried using the link #pum-26318 instead of #ck-popup? I’m not sure what ck-popup is because I only see one popup loaded, and it’s slug name is sign-up-summit.

    I would suggest using the Popup ID #, which can be found in the All Popups screen in the WordPress Admin.

    Thank you for being so patient.
