Index Pages blank

  • I looked around and tried to find some answers… but there seem just questions… My problem is pretty much the same. All my pages work fine, except the index page. It just shows blank. Same with the wp-admin (dashboard page). https://www.maisonbordeaux.co.za/guesthouse (works) but https://www.maisonbordeaux.co.za/ doesn’t (for now I used a temp page)

    I have checked the .htacces file, plugins, theme and enlessley looked in this forum. I really hope there is someone with an answer to our questions…
    The problem started after we moved the site to a new server. Initally I used WP 2.2 and faced the problem, so I upgraded to the latest version in the hope it woudl fix it (not so).

    Check the permission on the index.php file, they should be set to 644.

    Try to:
    – activate the display_errors in php.ini (you can do it in your local .htaccess or local php.ini)
    What errors do you see?
    – see the source of the page. Is it completely blank?
