Not able to change meta description of home page

    First of all thanks for this great plugin!!

    However I have an issue with changing the meta description for my static home pages. I use Yoast SEO but changes in Yoast SEO module on the pages doesn’t have a effect.

    In Settings > Languages > Strings translations i can’t see any description string which i can translate.

    My homepages currently don’t have any meta description tag which is very frustrating. Please help!

    I can’t find a solution to solve this. Please help if you have an idea?

    Go in Pages > All pages then edit one of your translated static home page, then try to translate the meta description in the Yoast metabox. Then do the same for the other translations.

    Thank you Chrystl for the answer, I actually found the solution for my “issue”. For some reason my home url is showing the meta description of my ‘product archive’ page (which is not my static homepage). I think it has to do with the usage of page builder and my theme.

    That was the reason that changes in my home page didn’t had any effect.

    I changed the meta description in Yoast metabox for my ‘archive page’ and the description is now visible on my home url.
