“Add own answers” setting adds possible answers to poll

I am looking to create a poll where ALL voters fill in their own answers to questions with no choices provided in the questions asked. I have used the “Allow users to add answers (democracy)” setting so that Users can type in their own answers. The issue is that each unique answer provided then adds it as a possible answer for all future Users taking the poll.

Is there a way to suppress showing answers provided by past Users to new Users taking the poll?
