noob question – after someone orders then what happens?

hi guys,
i’m curious about this plugin. so is this just like a typical contact form? you get a confirmation message through email? is there a way to get a text message? or maybe some sort of alert? i’m just worried that if i install then i would have to constantly check my email. that doesn’t make sense to me.
please advise. thanks!

no, it’s like a typical ecommerce plugin

as opposed to constantly checking for other kind of messages !? Any email client should also be able to give you some notifications of some sortthere’s also already lot about SMS, Audio alerts being said here for example

In any event, it’s a free plugin. I would suggest you install it somewhere (some test environment probably) and see how it does things> i would need 2 menu. is this doable?
just use a multisite setup – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Create_A_Network
(you could also use 2 categories (one for each restaurant) and assign the menu items as appropriate, but you will probably create confusion when people order)
