Remove “listing-category” from permalinks

Hi,

My current permalink structure when viewing a listing category is https://www.mydomain.com/listing-category/listing-category-name/.

I would like to remove listing-category from my URLs. For example : https://www.mydomain.com/freelance/ and not https://www.mydomain.com/listing-category/freelance/.

I have tried replacing listing-category with a . but this makes all listing category pages unfindable or broken.

Also my current permalink structure when viewing a job is https://www.mydomain.com/listing/listing-title/. I would like to replace listing with the name of the primary category the listing is set to. For example : https://www.mydomain.com/freelance/web-designer-for-project/.

Does anyone have a solution to this ?
