• Hello.
very good plugin. Working well. I tested it on few test sites I have and it worked great.
But now I need to use it on my main site and have some problems.

When I try to check newsletter report I get error instead of usual report page.
    HTTP Error 403.0 – Forbidden
    More Information:
This generic 403 error means that the authenticated user is not authorized to use the requested resource…

Other functions of plugin work well for now. Creating newsletters, collecting subscribers, sending emails, view posts on page and emails are delivered to targets.
    What can be the problem?
I am using hosting on windows server, not linux (i know it’s W$ and everybody else are on linux but hey they were the best solution for now).
Is it related to windows host or something else.
To mention that I did refreshed permalinks and set 777 to whole alo folder.

Other question is can I skip some posts on the newsletters page? Not all emails are for public. I would like to use some reminders etc for specific groups.

    And third question,
is there any way to add individual email address of recipient with other choices?
For example I want newsletter to send to a group subscribed on “newsletter” list but want to add some individual email address from other lists.

It really seems a permission file issue. Double check the owner/permissions of plugin file /alo-easymail/pages/alo-easymail-admin-report.php. Ask to your hosting if necessary.
Otherwise, it could be caused by a conflict with other plugins: temporary disable all other plugins, if so the report works you’ll be sure there is a conflict.
About published newsletters, you can enable/disable newsletter visibility in blog only for all of them using a plugin option. You should write some custom php to let show only some newsletters.

I already tried to disable all plugins and the result is same.
I tried to make new posts and send them while other plugins are not active – result is the same.
As I said i already setup the whole alo folder and subfolders to 777 premision. I am using filezilla. I setup specific file also to 777.

I have 3 more websites on different hosts (free one) that I use only for testing plugins etc before I decide to use plugin on main site. Your plugin is working flawlessly on other sites. There I have the same plugins installed and active and few more fore testing. So the environment is the same except as I mentioned main site is on windows host ??
I suspect it is the problem.
Everything works well except this report.
I will try with host and inform if any progress.

*To mention something I did before start to use the plugin. I had problem with host and max_execution_time that was set on 30 sec. When first time tried to install the plugin and to activate it I got this white screen with message with maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded.
So i tried to deactivate some plugins and especially WPML-s (several plugins) and activated ALO finally. I think problem was ALO created too many newsletter pages for second language. But when tried to activate WPML-s the problem with 30 second was there again. And I deactivated ALO again. But did not want to delete the whole folder, just rename with dot (.) before name. It was hidden for a while. Latter when host updated mu max exec time on 60 I removed dot form folder name and activated ALO successfully. Maybe this is the problem now??? Maybe it is written in the database wrongly or with strange owner/permission role because I changed the name of the folder before???
Where can I look in database for this?

    About other questions…
I meant is there any option like shortcode to put on newsletters page for post ID to be excluded?

Third question, is there any way to send newsletter to individual email recipient? Not to group only.

Finally I did it. Its working now. I see reports.
I deleted everything, even 4 database folders and installed from scratch.
When you install plugin but have WPML active there is some problem with creating too many pages like (newsletter, newsletter hu, newsletter sr…). I mean too many of them, I had more than 10 of them and I have only 3 languages for now.

So advice to others who have problem with reports is to reinstall ALO and to delete 4 database folders before installing and activating again. Also to delete all pages that ALO create. If using WPML, maybe first before activating ALO to to deactivate WPML. That worked for me. Ofc it is if you are just starting now but if you have data from before you want to save than you need different approach.
