• Can you help me to solve the mystery that I have with my website about “500 Internal Error”?

My site is WordPress multisite and I have same plugins on

    course.777777777.com
    and
    exams.7777777777.com

and even the same Theme but I get 500 Error on “course.777777777.com” randomly.

I made a new .htaccess file some days ago and even deactivated many plugins and everything was good for some days till last night.

Now I have it in backend and some redirect in front end. All of the links of the course.777777777.com show the text in course.777777777.com .

    * If it helps from the first day that I have installed this “course.777777777.com” subdomain me and many users did not have access to “course.777777777.com” and 90 percent had “500 Internal Error” in firefox and loop error in Goggle Chrome and we had to clear or cach and cokies of the browsers to see the content of the “course.777777777.com” .

** If it helps I even changed the language of my site from Persian to English and I did not have the problem for some days. But just some days.

    – I want to know how can I recognize and solve the problem?

    – Is it possible that one of the plugins or … is making some changes in .htaccess file ? I have archive of my .htaccess file and compare them.

    – why I have this error just on one of the subdomains?

I am really thankful for your attention and answer

Internal server errors (error 500) are often caused by plugin or theme function conflicts, so if you have access to your admin panel, try deactivating all plugins. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue.

If that does not resolve the issue, it’s possible that a .htaccess rule could be the source of the problem. To check for this, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, and rename the .htaccess file. If you can’t find a .htaccess file, make sure that you have set your SFTP or FTP client to view invisible files.

If you weren’t able to resolve the issue by either resetting your plugins and theme or renaming your .htaccess file, we may be able to help, but we’ll need a more detailed error message. Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for any errors that occurred during that time period. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you.

Thanks for your attention and kindness.
Two of my network active plugins like “Super Cache” were making many errors and I disactivated them and I recive the error rarely and have theses Errors that are at the end of the text.

I guess maybe these plugins make a change to the .htaccess file . They are not active now.

I do not have “advanced-cache.php” and I had “500” error before deactivating the “super Cache” plugin.
Now all of my plugins are deactivated and I even renamed the folder of Super Cache and plugins but I have the errors. ??

I removed the super cahch completely and its codes from wp-config and made a new manual .htaccess file.

    Now I have this errors:

[15-Nov-2016 10:26:35 UTC] PHP Warning: include(/hermes/walnaweb07a/b1724/pow.salamzaban/htdocs/sz/wp/wp-content/advanced-cache.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/walnaweb07a/b1724/pow.salamzaban/htdocs/sz/wp/wp-settings.php on line 86

I had “failed to open stream” on another plugin too some days ago

    * redirect in front end is for this reason too?

@salamzaban, I would suggest navigating to htdocs/sz/wp/wp-content/ via FTP and download your advanced-cache.php and any other drop-in plugins in this directory and download this.

Once downloaded, please delete these files (Do not delete the downloads you have just done) see if your issue is resolved.

I have seen similar issues with drop-in plugins for caching and it should hopefully help somewhat. I’m not too clued up with Multisite issues ??

    Hope it helps!
